| Recently I did a small body of work based on architectural details from New York City buildings. The book New York Detail- A Treasury of Ornamental Splendor- by Kobayashi and Watanabe is a wonderful source of photos of cornices, facades and sculptures that adorn many of the city’s older buildings.
